LOTTERY PROCEDURE
Valid Entries will be those properly completed on the website with credit card payment of entry fee by the deadline date. Entries will be accepted beginning at 8 a.m. Central Daylight Time on the opening date. If the tournament fills by 12 p.m. CDT, that day a lottery drawing will be done to determine the field and the order of the waiting list. Any entries for the tournaments that fill within the 4 hour window will be entered in the lottery.
ELIGIBILITY
For NWAGA Tournaments, entrant must be a member of NWAGA. Entrant must also be a resident of Nebraska (see below) with an up-to-date USGA Handicap Index® issued by a “member club” of the Nebraska Golf Association. All players must conform to the Rules of Amateur Status as approved by the United States Golf Association and The R&A.
An individual is considered a resident of Nebraska if they: a) maintain either a primary or a secondary residence in Nebraska, or b) are an active duty member of the United States Military stationed in Nebraska, or c) are a student physically attending college in Nebraska within a time period four-months prior to the event, or d) are a graduate of a Nebraska high school attending an out-of-state college. If these criteria are in question, the NWAGA Tournament Committee shall render any final decision.
Handicaps: The NWAGA Handicap Committee requires that all participants in NWAGA tournaments have a minimum of 10 acceptable scores posted within 12 months of the applicable event's registration deadline.
