Entry Deadline: 5 pm CDT on August 7, 2023

Entrant must be a member of NWAGA who will have reached their forty-ninth birthday by August 14, 2023. All players must conform to the Rules of Amateur Status as approved by the United States Golf Association and The R&A.

An individual is considered a resident of Nebraska if they: a) maintain either a primary or a secondary residence in Nebraska, or b) are an active duty member of the United States Military stationed in Nebraska, or c) are a student physically attending college in Nebraska within a time period four-months prior to the event, or d) are a graduate of a Nebraska high school attending an out-of-state college. If these criteria are in question, the NWAGA Tournament Committee shall render any final decision.

Handicaps: The NWAGA Handicap Committee requires that all participants in NWAGA tournaments have a minimum of 10 acceptable scores posted within 12 months of the registration deadline.

Limited to 54 sides (108 players).

All sides must file an online entry application. Entry fee of $260 ($130/player) must be paid by every side. Entry fee will be refunded regardless of reason if NWAGA is notified (402-505-4653, ext. 102 or via e-mail at nwaga@nebgolf.org) before the close of entries. After the close of entries, fee will be refunded in the event of medical condition, if requested before the first day of competition. No refund for any reason after that day. A $30 service charge will be deducted from all refunds. Entry includes 36-holes of competition; cart; prizes; player dinner and awards luncheon.

Entries open at 8:00 a.m. CDT on Saturday, July 1, 2023. Entries must be received by NWAGA no later than 5:00 p.m. CDT on Monday, August 7, 2023. If the competition receives more than the maximum number of entries by 12:00 p.m. CDT on July 1, a drawing will be used to determine the field and wait list order. If the tournament does not receive more than the maximum number of entries by 12:00 p.m. CDT on July 1, the field will be determined by order of entry. Entries may be accepted after the deadline, if field is not full, at the discretion of NWAGA. Partner substitutions may be made prior to competition.

The maximum handicap index permitted for this event is 40.4. Golfers whose handicap index exceeds 40.4 will be reduced to the 40.4 maximum.

The tournament will consist of 36-holes of eclectic stroke play (both gross and net). In Eclectic, two players play as partners and take the best score the side has made on each hole over the course of rounds one and two. For example, on hole one in round one, players A & B, who are partners, both have a score of 5. During the second round on hole one, player A makes a 3 and player B makes a 5. Therefore, their eclectic score for hole one would be a 3. Same would apply for best net scores in the net portion of the event.

All sides will compete in both Gross and Net Divisions.

Flights will be created in advance, within the Net Division, based on the total of the side's Handicap Indexes.

Based on August 7 Handicap Revision. An individual's Playing Handicap is 75% of their Course Handicap. Maximum Handicap Index is 40.4.

A side’s combined Handicap Indexes will determine round one shotgun starting position with the lowest combined Handicap Indexes starting on hole 1. Round two shotgun starting position will be determined by round one net score with the lowest scores starting on hole 1.

Caddies are not permitted.

Players must be neat in appearance with respect to clothing and personal grooming. Traditional spikes are prohibited. Model Local Rule G-7.

Ties for first place within a division or flight will be broken by scorecard playoff using the USGA method of comparing scores.

Scores from this event will be posted for handicap purposes.
