Entry Fee/Format


$85 includes 36 holes of stroke play. Entry fee includes; flight prizes, Monday evening buffet following play, Tuesday continental breakfast, Tuesday awards luncheon following play, and door prizes.

*Full refund minus administration fee given before the deadline.

Cart Fee
$15 per seat, per day, MUST reserve with entry. Total $30 for two days. Payment for cart fee will be made at the club.
Tournament Field
Tournament field is limited to the first 90 entries. All flights will be determined according to the Tournament Guidelines.

Practice Rounds
Sunday, June 5 after 3:00 p.m. Please call a week prior. Green fees are $50 plus cart. Please call 308-345-5032 to arrange practice round.
Entry Deadline
Entries must be received in office or submitted online no earlier than May 1 and no later than May 30. All entrants will be notified of acceptance and first round pairings. If you must withdraw from the tournament it must be done before 5 p.m. on the date of the entry deadline.

2011 Event Results

McCook-Elizabeth Lydiatt of Kearney finished the 2011 Western Stroke Play Tournament with a below par round and was crowned the champion at Heritage Hills Country Club. Lydiatt shot a two-day total of 142 (72-70). Armana Christianson of Omaha finished in second place with a 152 (74-78) and J.C. Weaver of Grand Island finished in third with a 155 (72-83). Shelby Stone of St. Paul finished in fourth, improving the second day by ten strokes. Stone finished the tournament with a two-day total of 156 (83-73).

North Platte - JC Stevenson of Grand Island, once again took home the Western Stroke Play trophy for the second year in a row. Stevenson finished the tournament with a (76-79) 146, followed by UNK golfer Sara Wissing in second place firing a (82-75) 157. Stephanie Rodgers of Unadilla, finished in third place shooting scores of (78-80) for a 158. Rodgers also had a hole-in-one on number 4, a par three 124 yards. Rodgers used an 8 iron and this marks her first hole-in-one of her career. Finishing in fifth place was Allison Rowden, of Broken Bow with a two day total of (81-82) 163.

2009 Event Results

Cambridge -- The 2009 NWAGA Stroke Play Champion J.C. Stevenson from Grand Island does it again! Stevenson claimed the NWAGA Western title last year as well as this year. She carded a two day total of 141 (70-71) to finish the tournament three under at Cross Creek Golf Links in Cambridge. Two players, Susan Marchese and Armana Christianson, came in Tuesday, June 30th, with an impressive five under par round. Marchese of Omaha finished in second place with a two day total of 145 (76-69). Christianson of Omaha finished in third place with a two day total of 146 (77-69). The fair conditions allowed players to score some impressive rounds of golf.

2008 Event Results
Brule - J.C. Stevenson of Grand Island claimed her second NWAGA Tournament title of the 2008 season. Stevenson shot an even round of 71 Tuesday to seal the victory. Stevenson's two day total (73-71=144) bested second place Kayla Knopik, Papillion by six strokes. Knopik fired a round of three over par, but said her two double bogey's of the day hurt her chances of contending with Stevenson. Knopik's two day total was (76-74=150). Daneille Lemek of Doniphan held onto third place after rounds of (77-76=153). Julie Hall of Norfolk shot four strokes better on day two to hold onto forth place (82-78=160). This year's Western tournament was held north of Ogallala at the Bayside Golf Course in Brule.
