Entry Fee/Format


$100 includes 54 holes of stroke play, flight prized, Monday evening dinner following play, and Wednesday awards luncheon following play.

*Full refund minus administration fee given before the deadline and no refund is to be given after the deadline.

Cart Fee
$15 per seat, per day, MUST reserve with entry. Total $45 for two days. Payment for cart fee will be made at the club.
Tournament Field


Tournament field is limited to the first 100 entries.

Championship Flight shall consist of all participants with a handicap index of 6.0 or less automatically accepted and any of those participants who elect to compete in Championship Flight. All other flights will be determined by 36-hole qualifying scores. Championship FLight will compete from a longer course than all other flights.

Practice Rounds
Anytime during the week of June 13. Green fees are $40 and includes cart. Please call 402-223-2710 to arrange practice rounds.
Entry Deadline
Entries must be received in office or submitted online no earlier than May 16 and no later than June 13. All entrants will be notified of acceptance and first round pairings.

2011 Event Results

Beatrice- On the final day of the 2011 State Stroke Play Championsip, Kayla Knopik of Papillion, a first day leader, withstood the wind to score a 76, for a final 232 (76-80-76). This is Knopik's second NWAGA Championship, with the other at the 2009 Match Play. Following Knopik by one stroke was a tie for second place between two day medalist Sarah Sasse-Kildow of Lincoln (79-70-84) and J.C. Weaver of Grand Island (81-74-78) for a three day total of 233.

Gothenburg- Two time State Stroke Play Champion, JC Stevenson of Grand Island won the three day tournament with a 227 three strokes better than local Katie Keiser. Finishing in third place was Mckayla Anderson of Fremont with a 233 and in fourth place Armana Christianson of Omaha with a 236. UNL golfer Kayla Knopik finished in fifth place, shooting a 239.

Lincoln -- Husker golfer, J.C. Stevenson from Grand Island posts a two day total of 155 (79-76) to win the 2009 State Stroke Play Championship held at the Country Club of Lincoln. With a weather cancellation on Monday, June 22, the two day championship finished Wednesday, June 24, in a tight race with two contestants within one stroke of Stevenson. Danielle Lemek of Doniphan and Abby Bartlett of Grand Island both shot a two day total of 156 to tie for second place. Finishing fourth from Omaha was Kylie Smith with a two day total of 157. Fifth place went to Katie Keiser from Gothenburg who carded a two day total of 158.

2008 Event Results

Grand Island - Wichita State golfer Megan Bartlett of Grand Island claims the 2008 NWAGA Stroke Play Championship held at Grand Island's Indianhead Golf Course. Bartlett fired a three day total (73-76-77=226). Defending Champion Steph Kolbas, Lincoln tried to rally her way back to the top but fell short by four strokes, for a three day total of (77-78-75=230). Husker Golfer J.C. Stevenson of Grand Island took the third place honors after carding a three day total of (76-76-79=231). 14 year old Daneille Lemek, Doniphan held on to finish fourth (73-82-79=234).
