NWAGA is pleased to honor Pierce graduate, Brittney Dinkel as the 2010 NWAGA Founder's Scholarship winner. She will attend Nebraska Wesleyan University and plans to major in chemistry this fall. She graduated first out of 58 students at Pierce Public High School. Dinkel also participated on the varsity girl's golf team all four years of high school and in her senior year she medaled seventh at the Nebraska High School Girl's State Golf Tournament.

Each applicant was required to write an essay of how golf has impacted their life. Dinkel wrote, "Through golf I learned dedication, perseverance, honesty, and many other valuable attributes. Golf has also impacted my personal, academic, and professional goals in life."

On behalf of NWAGA and its members we would like to congratulate Miss Brittney Dinkel on her accomplishments during her high school career at Pierce and wish her the best at Nebraska Wesleyan.
